Civil right movement

1.) Before and during the Civil Rights Movement (1950s & 1960s) - Which amendment (s) do you think were not being equally applied to minorities? - Explain

2.) Explain why you think the amendment (s) meant so much to the various minority groups.

    1. the Southern Christian Leadership Conference created by MLK to combat segregation v. Civil Rights Act of 1964 c ... The African American Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s addressed the failures of Reconstruction by guaranteeing Civil Rights and voting rights at the federal level.

    2. it meant a lot to the minorities because before this amendment was passed black people didn't have the same rights as white people did, and they continued to fight for their rights
