People will not be able to protect themselves against the government and other threats.

The Government takes all of the weapons away so then they have them so if they decide to try and make the country communist then who is going to stop them. People won't because they have nothing to defend themselves against the government.

If the people take away weapons the government would easily be able to take our rights away and what would we do about it. In addition during the process of taking away our weapons their would certainly be rebellion which would result in loss of life
