In the beginning, each side in the civil war believed the war would be brief and that their side would win. what advantages did each side hold that made them feel this way? elaborate.

    I think both parties that are involved in the civil war each have their advantages. They might have a strong political will to act and move a large number of people to fight with arms. They also have prepared for this event. Sufficient armaments and supplies are available to keep themselves going all throughout the war. Most importantly, they were willing to fight for their lives and welfare.
