How is the attack of Pearl Harbor similar to the attack of 9/11?

In both events thousands of lives were lost. In the attack on Pearl Harbor 2,400 people died within a matter of hours. In the attack on 9/11 3,000 people died. The people that died were all innocent. 400 officers were killed in the attack of 9/11. Both of these events left thousands dead.

Both pushed the united states into a war, they both were "sneak attacks" both were caused by foreign attacker, both happened on american soil
