    Boston Tea Party Cause. In simplest terms, the Boston Tea Party happened as a result of "taxation without representation", yet the cause is more complex than that ... Additionally, colonists believed Parliament did not have the right to tax them because the American colonies were not represented in Parliament

    1) Taxes

    2) Colonists belived Parliament did not have a right to tax them.

    3) American colonies were not represented in Parliament

    Due to all of this many people borded a ship, and dumped gallons of tea into the sea giving the name Boston Tea Party.
