What are some of the problems American faced as more and more people emigrated from many diffrent nations

As more and more immigrants came to America, crowding in unregulated tenements became a serious issue (there were lot's of diseases in these tenements). Also, there was the issue of work. The influx of immigrants made it harder to find work when everyone wanted the same jobs. Also, different religions and cultures, caused some heated conflicts between various groups of people.
