    At the end of the civil war, the northern economy progressed because of rapid industrialization in production sector and building of railways and improvement in roadways.

    Explanation:

    The civil war has changed the economy of the northern part of America because already the northern part was rich in natural resources. Actually the civil war used some modernised weapons and machineries which were very much manufactured in northern region of industrial sector.

    And it has generated more employment in the area by way of new people coming in to fill for those died in the battlefield. By increasing the production the northern economy was progressing and it has contributed to win the civil war.
