    The people were fighting for themselves and to protect their properties from being stolen. There was a huge part of France full of poor people that grew tired of what they had. prices were also going up and people were starving for food. The only options they really had were to fight for it, and they had decided to attack the wealthy people only as they had everything the land could offer.
