The possession of fire and tools with which to make clothing and shelters made it possible for different human species to extend the range of their habitation far beyond the current savanna where they live. In the late phase of the palaeolithic Era, Humans also have developed several advancements in tools that is made by stone.

This tools include weapons such as arrow, axe, and spear, which is much more effective than wood based weapon when used in hunting and more durable if it brought for long distance travel.
