    C. Through deforestation, humans destroy large areas of forested land which result in loss of the species' habitats.

    Explanation:

Human activity puts animals in danger in many ways, one of which is through deforestation, humans destroy large areas of forested land which result in loss of the species' habitats.

With the construction and constant expansion of cities, the construction of roads between them humans destroy and disconnect patches of land that were used by various species.

That's not even counting the open mining activities and the cut of wood for lumber needs.

Flooding although it could be made more significant by deforestation, is a natural disaster, just like earthquakes. Wind generation doesn't ruin the soil, at least not in an extent to cause significant damage, comparable to deforestation.

There is little to no evidence that human activity causes flooding, the ruin of soil. Earthquakes might have a little more, but by far the best answer is Deforestation, which endangers and even wipes out many species.
