During ww2 about 1.8% of us soldiers were killed directly in battle. This number went down to 0.5% at Vietnam war. What was this number in the Persian gulf?

    The number of soilders killed in ww2 decreased in vietnam war because their soilders died not because of war but were lost in the jungle or could not survive in the harsh condition of vietnam's nature. and the rate was approximately same as because many soilders died there also by illness and fatigue.
