Vedic Period emerged, named after sacred books, that are main historical source for that period. Main features of this civilization are new written language - Sanskrit, caste system, religion and trade.

    Explanation:

Much of our knowledge of the earliest history of the Aryans and their society came from sacred texts, the so-called Veda. According to the Vedas, the Aryans settled in settlements much smaller than the Dravidian cities, and over time such settlements began to coalesce into local communities headed by Rajah. Sometimes such states came together to form an even greater creation, so its leading man is called the Maharajah. Rather, his primary role in such communities was security-related, namely, he was the commander-in-chief who prepared and led the community in crisis situations and for his own merits received substantial material assets. As the Aryans settled in the area along the Indus River, so in time they would start calling themselves Hindus or Indians, which speaks volumes about the importance of the Indus for their development.
