India is a secular state with a great tolerance for different religions that originated on it's grounds. Hinduism is one of those religions that came from the Vedic period and it is considered to be the oldest religion in the world and the mother of all religions. Hinduism has no founder and it is characterized as a way of life and spiritual growth. Hindu practices are highly accepted throughout India because they are so tolerant and it seems like people in India live under the spirituality and traditions of Hinduism, that is why when we say India, we immediately think of this religion.
