    B. The printing press was not one of the major inventions of the nineteenth century.

    The printing press with movable type was a major invention in the 15th century. Way earlier than the other three inventions provided. However, printing press was introduced earlier than the 15th century but each step of printing was done manually.

    Other inventions during the 15th century were:

    1) Brace in Flanders, Holy Roman Empire

    2) Parachute with frame in Renaissance Italy

    3) Mariner's astrolabe on Portuguese circumnavigation of Africa

    4) Double-entry bookkeeping system codified by Luca Pacioli
