What was the initial response of the United States to the German campaign against European Jews?

    The initial response of the United States of America to the German campaign against European Jews can be stated at best as being largely ignored. The United states of America did set up war refugee board and that saved the lives of 1000s of Jews around the world, especially those belonging to Romania and Hungary.
