Arab-Israeli war and six day war on Israel border happened in 1948 as a result of the increased tension between the Arab nations and Israel which heightened when Israel declared itself as an independent state.

The Arab forces invaded a portion of Palestinian territory as a show of solidarity for Palestine due to existing feud between them and Israel which led to the destruction and loss of lives of innocent citizens and soldiers from both camps. Israel eventually won the battle.
