Hitler's Blitzkrieg was a military tactic that disorganized his enemies forces through the use of mobile forces and concentrated firepower. It was effective and short and when successfully executed it could preserve human lives and limits the use of artillery.

Fun Fact: The term "Blitzkrieg" in German means "Lightning War".

Hitler's blitzkrieg tactics were effective as the Allies had not prepared for that kind of war and therefore were not able to counter it the first few times.
