What events led to Cuba being such a dangerous part of the cold war in the early 1960s

    Answer: The Cuba-Missile crisis

    Explanation: During the cold war of 1960 between Russia and America, it was believed that the Russians used Cuba (a communist state as Russia) as a base to build missiles. Due to Cuba's proximity it was believed that every state could be affected if missiles were to be launched from Cuba. In addition, when Fidel seized powee, he took over American businesses. With these undercurrents of events, Cuba was seen as a greater threat.
