B. a narrative anchored in chronology, C. the story of how the world has changed and how it has not changed much at all, and D. a retelling of what people did in prehistoric times. All three talk about what history is. Though A. the study of human adaptation to the environment also talks about history, history isn't a study about it.

So the answer to this question would be B, C, and D.
