    Andrew Jackson did not agree with the existence of the Bank of the United States. He blamed the bank for a series of problems, including the Panic of 1819 and the corruption in politics with too much money. He believed that the Bank gave little credit to ordinary people but would give large sums of credit to politicians. Because of that, when the US Congress renewed the bank charter, Jackson vetoed the bill.
