Characteristic of the reconstruction protests that would not be a consideration in the Boston tea party:

Reconstruction protests were the protest that were started by the people of the United States to end the problem of slavery that was prevalent in this region and to end the inequalities against them in the field of political, economic and social.

It did not also consider the problem of entering of the 11 states back into the union which broke apart at the time of the civil war. These were the issues not raised at the Boston tea party whose main aim was to protest against taxes of the British.
