    Unenumerated rights

Unenumerated rights are not written into a government document but are considered assumed rights that must be protected.

Enumerated rights are written into the Constitution but unenumerated are considered "natural rights". These rights are considered to belong to all citizens and don't have to be written down to be protected. Protection of the person and their property as well as their citizenship rights are covered in the 9th Amendment of the US Constitution.
