Why did Operation Overlord surprise the Germans?

1). They did not think the Allies would invade Europe.

2). They expected the Allies to invade farther north.

3). They did not think the Allies would invade in good weather.

4). They expected the invasion to come the following year.

    I would say 2. Basically a double spy for the Germans and Americans told the Germans they would be fronting at i think Calais. They turned up in Normandy instead.
