The year that the constitution was wrote was in 1787. It was written to establish a more stable government and ensure rights for citizens. No wonder why its so hard to make changes to the constitution, because if changes were made easily, our government would not be stable.

The year was 1787 they wrote it because they declared there freedom from Great Britan and wanted to write laws to make a strong goverment.
