The Industrial Revolution is a time period around 1780 to 1840 where the United States developed new technology. During this period of time, many new inventions were created such as the cotton gin and the steam engine. Instead of have hand crafted items like before, the Industrial Revolution allowed machines in factories to do most of the manufacturing.
