    The correct answer is B.) Bacteria and fungi recycle energy within an ecosystem ... Plants and other photosynthetic organisms are producers in ecosystems.

    That is false because organisms such as bacteria and fungi that are decomposers don't matter to the ecosystem and they don't recycle energy.
