The atomic bomb has been used in two places and 1 country during WWII. On August 6, 1945 and August 9, 1945 Hiroshima and Nagasaki both suffered intense damage from the bomb. Both cities suffered about 100,000 dead about 1/2 on the first day.

The United States Air Force delivered both bombs.
