The monotheistic religions are the religions in which there is only one God, though often there can also be lot of other important deities, but all of them are subordinate to the supreme God. There are several monotheistic religions in the world, with the Christianity, Islam, and Judaism being the three with the most followers.

The basic differences in the beliefs of these religions are about the principles and moral values on which they are focused. Another difference is found in the prophet of the religions and which is one the the right one. The religious celebrations are also different, mostly being in accordance with important events that happened in the lives of their prophets and their followers. The similarities can be seen in that they all have the same God. The basis and roots of all of them are also on the same foundation. They all believe that there is only one God, and that that there are two lives, the one on Earth, and the afterlife.
