    A week before Churchill was to give his speech "We shall Fight on the Beaches", he asked the House to schedule and afternoon where he feared that he will be the bearer of bad news.

    He thought that he will be announcing the greatest military disaster of their long history wherein 20,000 or 30,000 men would be forced to re-embark and fight in the ongoing war.
