Is Miner's description of American culture outrageous or inappropriate? Does it contain any evidence of bias?

    We are talking about the Article "Nacirema," written by Horace Miner, in which he describes American culture.

    We cannot say it is outrageous or inappropriate because it is the perception and vision of an anthropologist that is exposing his work Is there any evidence of bias? Probably, but if the work tried to make a peculiar description of the inhabitants of America to capture the attention of scholars and readers, he had to do it in an unconventional way.

    "Nacirema," is "America" spelled backward, and was aimed to describe the conduct and customs of American people from a different perspective.
