Could anything have been done to resolve the issues of the sectional crisis of the 1850s? explain.

    I think they cannot do anything about sectionalism in the 1850s. The issue was in its heights and resolution did not appeal to most of the people. Acceptance should be the key and reinforcement of the law. But there are people in the government that prevented it to happen.

    The people during that time are not open to change and wanted their race to reign. They benefit from slaves and became dependent with their living, it was a sign of their wealth and stature. There are too many conflicts and polarization of their choice.
