How was the conflict between Pope Gregory VII and Henry IV resolved?

    In 1122 both members agreed on the Concordat of Worms. It clearly differentiated and designated royal and holy powers. It did limit a bit of the Holy Roman Emperor's power, however they did still retain considerable power over the church.
