The Last Supper by Paolo Veranese was heavily scrutinized by the Roman Inquisition for what appeared to be heretical elements. The issues that the Roman Inquisition had were with the people that were"surrounding Jesus." Veranese had painted in people that were not part of the usual scene. He had appeared to paint in dwarves, drunken Germans, jesters, and other similar characters. He was questioned but found not guilty. He was given 3 months to change the painting. The only thing Veranese changed was the name. Instead of the "Last Supper", it became known as the "The Feast in the House of Levi".

    The work was last supper.

The creator veronese was called to explain why he had made a jokey trail of Jesus last meal, the last supper, which he had taken on Earth before his crucifixion.
