Why do you think the Bill of Rights contains the right to a trial by jury? What is important about the right to have a jury decide someone's guilt or innocence?

    They have the right to trial by jury because it followed by due process. The importance is the jury follow due process.

    The Bill of Rights contains the right to a trial before a jury because, without that law an innocent person could be sent to jail without a fair trial! It is important to have a jury decide someone's guilt or innocence because the jury is highly educated to know and see if that man/women is guilty of jail or death.
