In this period the Christian world starts to significantly develop the science and to slowly move away from the influence of the church, as well as making explorations which brought great wealth, territories and development for the Christian world. In meantime, the Islamic world stagnated, and even started to go backwards, to decline, and fall even more into the hands of the religion which made it lose its power, territories, influence, development. This caused great gap between the two 'worlds' and eventually hatred and envy that continue to this day.
