Ancient Egyptian pyramids were very important because they acted as tombs for dead pharoahs. They were often decorated with a lot of valuables which shows how important these pharoahs were to Egyptians. The pyramids themselves were made from thousands of heavy bricks which had to be dragged with rope up ramps to be placed up pyramids 500 feet tall. We can also learn a lot about ancient Egyptians from the artifacts left in these pyramids as lots of records of the pharoah's reign and other sorts of scripture about Egyptian religions and daily life can be uncovered from heiroglyphs inside.
