    1. 3 parts; Judicial, Legislative, and Executive.

    2. Each state has 2 senators.

    3. Since larger states and smaller states have the same number of senators, there's a clear benefit to representing a smaller state. Think about the 9 million people that live in New York that are represented by two senators. Then think about how the 1 million people that live in Maine who are also represented by two senators. The senators that represent larger states have much more stress than the smaller states do.
