A dictatorship is a type of a rule where a single person rules all aspects of the country and decides alone what becomes law. Historically it is related to kings who were either benevolent or malevolent dictators, while in modern times it's usually by party leaders who rule with an iron fist and oppress the people and silence political opponents.
