    the common aspects of independence of Kenya and Ghana are;

    They overthrew British rule. Both countries were colonies of the British.

    the two countries did not result to successful democracies but to autocratic regimes. Kwame Nkrumah was shortly overthrown while the first president of Kenya ruled the country with a rod of iron, and his regime was plagued in several scandals, despite being peaceful.

    The Independence of Ghana was greatly peaceful, but that of Kenya was plagued by some violence, as the Mau Mau launched series of attacks against white settlers.
