History is the study of what happened in the past. To understand what is happening currently in the world, it's always good to have some back round knowledge of what has already happened in the past. It's also important to learn from our mistakes so we try not to repeat the same ones again.

History is what already happened. History is the past. History is important because we learn from the past, and if we didn't know about history we would make those mistakes over and over.
