How did the civil rights movement change America in a positive way?

    The civil rights movement meant equality for everyone in America. It's aim was to end racism and discrimination found against races in America at the time. In the end it changed American in a positive way as it meant equality for all races and equal liberty, happiness, and justice for all races in America.
