    The answer should be A. Before the War of 1812, Britain and France were trying to cut off each other's trade with the United States. Britain seized American ships that were trading with France, and they also seized American sailors and forced them to work for Britain. Great Britain also encouraged Native American hostility towards US expansion in the west. GB refusing to stop seizing American ships and sailors is what ultimately led to the United States declaring war on Great Britain.
