The War Production Board made sure the armed forces and war industries received the necessary sources to win the war.

The War Production Board was an agency of the United States government thet supervised war production in the World War II.

The WPB decided which companies would convert from peacetime to wartime production and allocated war materials to key industries.

The Board also organized national campaigns to collect scrap irons, tin cans, paper, rags and cooking fat for recycling into war goods.

The Board supervised the production of weapons and supplies.

Because of all the above, the military aircraft production increased and more parachutes, tanks and arms were produces. Without this increased production the Allies could not have won the war.
