Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day and Emancipation Day, is a holiday or observance in many US states to celebrate the anniversary of the abolition of slavery in Texas on June 19, 1865.

I suppose the reason why we don't celebrate this day is because it's over and done with. A memory that either need or should or won't be forgotten. Maybe this is one to vote and have a campaign over with. Who knows. I'm just giving my advice.
