Frankly I think it was the other way around, the KJB Holy Bible was mostly used by the populace until about the 1940's and in the New Testament Christ say's "A Kingdom divided can not stand". This is one of the reasons I think preservation of the union was the main reason behind the Civil Way even though President Lincoln was a abolitionist before he became president.
