How did the print and transportation revolutions transform colonial culture and economy in the eighteenth century

Once printing began, colonists were able to learn information at a faster rate. Printers thrived economically, being able to read became more important, and currency circulated more. Transportation innovations opened up tremendous opportunities for commerce within the colonies. Food could be better imported and exported, marketplaces became more common, and colonists found new and faster ways to engage in social activities.
