    The social media and internet have connected the politician and the citizens over the years. We have many social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Fb, and many more.

    These sites have made it easy for a politician to connect with the citizen without any stress and also these sites serves as a platform where the citizens can interact with the politicians, share their view on a particular issue. For example, Trump tweeted on twitter to warn American citizens from traveling to some part of Nigeria all because of the Boo haram.

    The use of social media and the internet have made the citizens to be proactive.
