Where does secondary socialization occur?

secondary socialization takes place outside the home. It is where children and adults learn how to act in a way that is appropriate for the situations they are in. Schools require very different behavior from the home, and children must act according to new rules.

Secondary socialization also takes place where we work. It is also a formative part of the travel process whenever a person visits a place where they have never been, whether that place is in a different part of the city or half-way around the world.
