Social change is a general term which refers to:
change in social structure: the nature or the social institutions.
Economic change: This process is described by many different names like structural adjustment, globalization, export oriented industrialization, and sometimes simply economic development.
Political change: Rulers will be voted out, retire or die while in power, and the new leader will make changes.
