Jews believe in both hell and heaven. They believe that the reason that life is hard is because in the afterlife it isn't. So you work hard when living and enjoy yourself when not. Another thing, (I don't know if its convienent to this project your doing but ...) They do wide variety versions or reincarnation depending on your soul. You can be born with a pure soul or you can be born with good qualitys of a person and bad quailitys as a soul.
